Great extra fridge, best in small appliances

With the pandemic going on right now I wanted an extra small fridge just in case we need supplies or our other fridge breaks. . I was looking for something more than your typical dorm room fridge and I thought this was a great one at a really reasonable price (I paid just under $200). dirty and I thought black would be better. I was nervous after reading the reviews about the crumpled items but mine arrived in perfect condition. It comes in a box with a ton of cushioning foam, so it takes a lot of tossing around to get hit like that. It would be nice if they put unpacking instructions on the outside of the box, but I realized I had to peel off the paper instead of trying to turn it sideways. I probably should have taken it to the basement and then unpacked it, so I'd suggest taking it wherever you want. There are some sharp edges underneath and when we picked it up to carry it down the stairs I left a small scratch on my hardwood floor. So be careful. I took the advice of some reviewers and let it sit overnight before plugging it in. FYI, the instructions are in the box. I couldn't see the booklet because there was plastic around it that only looked like padding. There's not much, but it tells you how to set the temperature. Comes with a small ice cube tray. When I plugged it in the next day, it started straight away and was very quiet. I poured some water into the ice tray and went downstairs a few hours later to check that it was mostly frozen. I love that it has a separate fridge and freezer. And the freezer is big enough to store something. I also like that the fridge has a drawer. Perfect. You can also take out the drawer if you want. I think I could put a medium sized turkey in there to thaw. It's really spacious. The compressor is located at the bottom at the rear. It's fully open, but note that it cuts into a space at the very bottom of the fridge. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a small fridge. Thank you for reading my review, Becky Brooks.
