This is our first time making pasta so it could be our fault. The dough needs to be firm enough to go through the machine without sticking, but soft enough that you don’t break the machine. We found it hard to strike that balance. There are metal shavings piling up under the machine. The handle skips. We took it apart and fixed it. It’s limping along and still works but we will probably toss it when we are done.
