This is a very well made cover. It's not a super tight combat cover, but it fits pretty tight. It's also slightly higher than the printer so its bottom edge rests against your desk to prevent dust from getting under the printer. I can leave the cables connected to the cover when I need to go to print. All I have to do is remove the cover, open the trays and load paper. For this type of printer I would really recommend this cover as it keeps the dust out of the inside and therefore your photo out.
