I've been using this keyboard for a few months now. I wanted to fully test the features before writing a review. First, the keyboard looks great. It has a backlight and lots of interesting lighting options for you to explore (see the included booklet for instructions on changing lighting effects). Moving on to the buttons, yes they are loud. The blues is by far the loudest of all switches. Expect this keyboard to drive your roommate crazy. I've owned several Ducky mechanical keyboards in the past and the blue switches are my favorite. They're loud, but I like the feel of how they feel when you're typing (similar to typing on an old typewriter). While these aren't Cherry MX switches, they're pretty good for their price range and if you don't want to spend a ton of money. The keyboard itself is very thin and the keys have a lower profile than some keyboards I've had before. I use this keyboard for gaming and it has served me well.
