Very good keyboard with a few problems

This review is after a few hours of using the keyboard so who knows what will come in the future but: I've mostly used membrane keyboards my life and recently decided it was time to switch to a mechanical keyboard. I've tried several different keyboards but really hated the overall profile - large keys and not flat profiles that are often concave, meaning large gaps between each row of keys and having to raise my hands higher than I'm used to typing in order. I tried cherry brown and red; the…

The thinnest mechanical desktop keyboard on the market

This is the thinnest mechanical desktop keyboard on the market. Kailh's low-profile blue switches differ from the full-size version. In my opinion, they are much denser and softer. The replacement keycap sets you see will not fit this keyboard, but the keycaps provided are good enough. The switches initially feel crisp and a bit noisy. They calm down and smooth out as soon as they break something. The RGB lighting system is great. White is a very pure white. It has no blue or pink tint. I like…

I love the lighting effects

I've been using this keyboard for a few months now. I wanted to fully test the features before writing a review. First, the keyboard looks great. It has a backlight and lots of interesting lighting options for you to explore (see the included booklet for instructions on changing lighting effects). Moving on to the buttons, yes they are loud. The blues is by far the loudest of all switches. Expect this keyboard to drive your roommate crazy. I've owned several Ducky mechanical keyboards in the…

Great, but last-mile fixes are needed in the next generation.

This is a review of the 104-key HV-KB395L. The build isn't bad, but they used an aluminum backplate, which is too thin and flexes a lot. If you press too hard in the center, the chassis will flex itself and smack the table. But I don't foresee anything broken. Stiffness issues can be solved with a bit of manual chopping but that keeps me from giving this product 5 stars. All switches fit together and look great. Very quiet, if a bit high when clicking. The thing types well, much less typos than

This is one of the best keyboards I've ever used

I've been using the HAVIT RGB keyboard for almost a month. This is one of the best keyboards I've ever used. I like the short travel and tactile feedback with each key press. The RGB lighting looks great, but it's not superfluous. I've been using Apple keyboards for 15 years. Having recently switched to the Windows platform, I wanted to find a keyboard with a very short key travel. This keyboard fits the bill. It has a slim profile so it doesn't take up much desk space, and every keypress feels

No exaggeration! The best keyboard I've ever touched!

It's no exaggeration to say that this has been the most enjoyable writing experience of my life. This is high-end hardware, and the reduced key travel has been a boon for both the speed and accuracy of my typing (even in games) and my recurring wrist-strain issues. I've used MANY keyboards over the decades. I'm embarrassed to say this is the best keyboard I've ever used, but the truth is this is the best keyboard I've ever used. This ranges from old beige monsters from the 80s to flat Mac…

Great when it works but don't expect support

Summary: Within 8 months the keyboard started adding extra spaces. Contacted support several times, no response. If you must buy it, spend a few bucks more to get a protection plan. You will probably need it. Long version: I bought this keyboard in April 2018 and am writing this review in December 2018. This keyboard worked great when I got it. It's slim, beautiful, and very comfortable to type on. I was a bit disappointed that the LEDs aren't very bright, especially compared to many other…

Believe the hype! - Accessory

I was looking for a keyboard that was less bulky than my Logitech G710. I had never owned a mechanical keyboard before, and while I appreciated the technical side of it, it never won me over. I write books so I type a lot and prefer a keyboard that fits my fingers better. The Cherry shifters on my G710 were heavy and required significant pressure compared to the membrane switches I was used to as a kid. Before the G710 I had a Logitech K740 and really liked this board. It had a very light…
