Summary: Within 8 months the keyboard started adding extra spaces. Contacted support several times, no response. If you must buy it, spend a few bucks more to get a protection plan. You will probably need it. Long version: I bought this keyboard in April 2018 and am writing this review in December 2018. This keyboard worked great when I got it. It's slim, beautiful, and very comfortable to type on. I was a bit disappointed that the LEDs aren't very bright, especially compared to many other keyboards on the market. I bought it for work, so in an office where it's usually bright, I didn't really care. I've been having problems with this for a week. One day (December 5, 2018) I noticed that while typing, extra spaces were being inserted, like I had pressed the spacebar twice when I had only pressed it once. It was bad enough to reproduce and after some testing I found that it happens about 1/100 spaces which is about 1% of the time. Typing a lot is enough to be very noticeable and annoying, which is why I started filing a claim with SquareTrade (I bought a four-year protection plan). However, since I've had the keyboard for eight months, it's still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which is why SquareTrade referred me to Havit. On the same day (December 5, 2018) I submitted a claim through Havit's online portal. I have not received a confirmation email, no contact information, nothing other than the website notifying me that my application has been submitted. Two days ago (December 10, 2018) the left shift key started behaving up as if it were in a "down" state, when it clearly wasn't. Today, after numerous recurring space issues, I decided I was done waiting and tried contacting Havit again. I tried emailing their support@prohavit.com email address only to get a server error response. I tried again with a different email address but got the same response. So your email is not available. I tried making a claim again through the online portal but saw the same results as the first time. At this point there was nothing I could do to contact Havit and get support for my apparently defective product. I contacted SquareTrade who took care of this for me as I was unable to reach the manufacturer. I will receive a refund (prorated but better than nothing) and will never buy a Havit product again.
