iCue is required for RGB setup but can be used for almost anything. It is aggressive, can take up over 1GB and stealthily installs 5-7 programs that consume resources and can noticeably slow down performance on budget installs. All I wanted was to change the damn RGB lighting, little did I know that buying this RAM would expose me to unwanted monitoring and marketing from Corsair. These modules are also high-end and incompatible with a number of popular aftermarket CPU coolers that are difficult to figure out with hindsight. I'm returning these sticks now, RGB is overpriced and not worth the crap just for the sake of the RAM. Corsair is done too, they are too greedy and let me down last time.
