This year the donkey has developed rain rot areas as it insists on sleeping in the wettest areas of its enema, and MTG at that contributed to her recovery. After 2 days of use twice a day with a clean rag, the scabs flaked off, new hairs appeared and the spread of the infection stopped. It's a fairly thick liquid that settles in layers, so it needs to be shaken well before application to ensure the bottom sediments have risen. I personally keep it upside down in a mop bucket. I don't keep it outside in very cold weather so it doesn't get so thick it's difficult to apply. I've noticed that there is a newer version of this product with additional ingredients for a nicer scent, but I know and trust this older version and have chosen to stick with my work, which I can rely on. The smell is pleasant; it smells like what it is, an oily topical remedy with sulfa compounds for healing.
