Review on Dorman 917-313 Engine Oil Dipstick: Accurate Oil Level Measurement and Easy Maintenance by Kevin Williams

The yellow plastic ring on the OEM dipstick broke one day when the dipstick inexplicably got stuck in the dipstick tube . I have no idea why this happened. I have this one and it fits perfectly and shows the same oil stains which is good enough for me. Looks the same as the OEM probe, but this new metal is slightly thinner in comparison. Although it still gets into the probe tube. It might take a little more convincing because the metal is a bit more pliable and thin. Quite acceptable but works great for what it is.
