Strong latch, works great for hollow-core closet doors!

I bought these latches to replace a set of ball catches on full-size hollow-core closet doors. I hated the ball catches -- the springs always loosened over time, and the door would get increasingly difficult to open. I wasn't sure if these latches would be strong enough (based on comments and reviews from others), but I have to say, these 40lb magnets are absolutely perfect! I'm glad I didn't go with the higher pull weight. They hold the doors firmly closed without being difficult to open.
