Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

Model Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ARE05 81W4007ARK Ryzen 4300U\Ram 4Gb\SSD 512\15" IPS Memory stick with 16 gigabytes was added. 18 gigabytes in total (4 soldered plus 16 minus 2 for visual memory). In the event that you choose to install Ubuntu 20.04 or any of the distributions that are derived from it, such as Linux mint 20, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, etc. Keep in mind that they are all running on kernel version 5.4, and Vega graphics support is NOT ON by default on that kernel. The answer to the predicament is: 1) You can enter amdgpu and Exp_hw_support=1 into the kernel boot parameters if you want to. Nevertheless, the brightness adjustment is not functioning properly! 2) Install kernel 5.5 or above. I have it set to 5.72022, and everything is functioning well.

Pros
  • Affordable, has an excellent screen and decent performance for its size, and lightweight.
Cons
  • Although there is a location where a cable for a SATA drive might be installed, the kit does not come with the cable itself. BIOS that has been simplified to a great extent.
