Review on 🔊 RoadPro RPSP-15 Universal CB Extension Speaker with Swivel Bracket, Compact Size 2.75" x 4.5 by Jose Muenzen

I bought this for one of our fire truck as an external speaker for our radio because its internal speaker wasn't loud enough. I had to cut the 1/8" connector and plug it into a Motorola 16 pin connector, but it was pretty easy and took about 10 minutes. I plugged it into the back of the radio, turned it on and it worked great. I was able to crank the radio's volume up to a point where it was uncomfortably loud, but the audio was still clear. When used in an application that requires a 4 ohm speaker, this speaker, which is an 8 ohm speaker, is about 1/2 times louder than a similarly sized 4 ohm speaker . NEVER use a 4 ohm speaker in an 8 ohm speaker ohm application - you will ruin your amp.
