Review on Demon 1921 Street Calibration Kit by Alex Gilbert

I have a 1966 Pontiac 2+2 with a 421 (now a 429 overbore) and this carburetor works very well with the

carburetor for your engine. I have a 1966 Pontiac 2+2 with a 421 (now an oversize 429) and this carb works really well with the engine. In my case, the best setup was to just use the richest parts in the kit. I ended up with the largest injectors and thickest boost springs on both the primary and secondary sides. Step bars are the next richest set. Most people would run a 750cfm carb on an engine this size, but I prefer the low-speed handling of carburetors to a few extra horses at the top. Additionally, this carburetor is already 75 CFM larger than the Original Equipment Carter AFB. Out of the box, the carburetor is probably very well matched to a relatively short-stroke 350 engine; That was too weak for my engine. Many folks with engines in the 300 to 400 cubic inch range can just bolt on this carb and go. All in all I love the carburetor and this kit was an absolute must for my particular engine. You may not need a tuning kit, but if you do, it will be invaluable. By the way, this kit includes all original regular injectors and booster rods. This is a great idea if you don't have a new carburetor to tune or if you've somehow lost parts. Others have criticized it as a waste of money, but in my opinion it's worth it.
