The girls love them.
To be fair we only opened the towels and they were not used for their intended purpose but used for costumes and games. Mermaids are a favorite item in my house and these towels would make the perfect playtime costume. As a parent I was a bit disappointed that the towels were so thin. I don't know how they'll survive a summer in the pool and shower. So I can't rate the absorbency and softness of a "towel" at the moment. But the little mermaids are happy, and that's the main thing.
