Works with extra feet but slides without them

Was hoping the black feet would be non-slip rubber. Instead, the legs are just plastic and slide easily across the kitchen floor. I added some non-slip adhesive material but I'm not sure how long they will last. The plastic legs have an uneven surface, so there aren't many stickers to stick on. I'll probably have to buy rubber feet to slide over the stair legs. The warning label says "Do not use on slippery floors." I probably wouldn't have bought it if the product page had told me so beforehand, so hopefully I can warn others. Why build a ladder or step stool that isn't stable on all floors (or at least most floors - mine isn't uncommon)? In addition, the ladder is not so easy to fold in and out. It doesn't matter, but it's worth mentioning. Update: I ended up removing the plastic feet that came with the kit. They have small screws that hold them in place and are easy to remove. I replaced them with 5/8 inch rubber leg tips I found at the hardware store. This size was perfect for inserting into the hollow aluminum legs. I hammered them in firmly with a rubber mallet and then used the same screws as the original legs to hold the rubber tips in place. As long as this works well, the stool will no longer slide on the hardwood floor. I also began to find the folding mechanism more and more annoying. Effort to unfold and fold it back together. I freed up some extra closet space (about 4-6 inches) so I could easily store it in the open position. If you don't have the extra space for it, I would think twice about buying this stool.
