For reference, i am 5'1, about 213lbs. Waist and hips are 39-40in and 51in respectively.These shorts are very cute. I ordered them to roller skate in but i can very much see myself lounging in them too. I have thick thighs so thats the only area where i can feel a snugness but its not an issue for me since its not digging in at all.The lenght of the shorts is perfect for me too. I didnt want to show off too much, but didnt want to cover too much either. A perfect middle for my frame.I was so happy to see that the shorts are high waisted with the draw string. Comes in very handy.The shorts are a good quality and pass the squat test.Only downsides to these shorts are the rainbow stripe curls up on my thigh where the decor overlaps (im sure that can be fixed with a little sewing) and the shorts have no pockets lol
