Another amazing puzzle my 4 year old put together. This is the third he collects from Melissa and Doug in a 35 piece version (the little wooden puzzle is long gone). I think as he got used to puzzles the speed at which he can solve puzzles increased. I noticed that he can now distinguish some patterns/colors between parts that need to match and knows where to place them (and how). I think it's great for developing important skills as it's a bit difficult but not impossible for her age. Plus, huge parts are so easy to maneuver. I'm really looking forward to him getting the hang of it so we can move on to a 60 piece puzzle (or was it 65?) and then a 100 piece puzzle. a few months. If your child has never done jigsaw puzzles before, they will need a lot of patience and guidance or they will lose interest.
