You get what you pay for.

I have installed 10 of these Wi-Fi6 EWS377 access points since they were introduced in business environments. Anyone who makes a living installing wireless networks understands that you must first conduct a survey on a Wi-Fi site to see what the current Wi-Fi environment is like before you install a Wi-Fi capable device in the office or even install at home. Most access points use the factory default settings and do very little customization of the access point's radio settings. This device is fully configurable for both radios and must be adjusted at installation for best performance and use of radios that are not overloaded in your environment. Its 2.5 GHz Gigabit Ethernet port is a great advantage when used with intelligent IEEE 802.3BZ data rate switches for maximum backplane throughput. WPA3 is fully supported by the new Wifi6 AX standard. Before making any changes to the configuration, you must FIRST update the firmware! Then set up your hotspot. If you've worked with these access points in the past 10 years, you know why this is important. All bad ratings on this device can be explained or generally eliminated with the latest firmware update and subsequent hard reset and subsequent restart of the devices. Construction. All of the many channel options are great for working in poor Wi-Fi environments. I've seen some pretty crappy environments with 75+ detected hotspots flooding the same channels and people are wondering why their Wi-Fi sucks. FIRST YOU MUST SCAN YOUR WI-FI ENVIRONMENT! I install Aruba, UBNT, Cisco and other APs and for the money, with the mesh capabilities of these devices, this is a great AP and I haven't had a single issue with any of the 10 devices. I installed . These devices can easily support 50 devices using the right configuration and as a result the Wi-Fi network is 100% reliable and fast. I'm amazed why people are so obsessed with VHD160 on APs at home. 5G works best with channel widths of 40 and 80. The wider you set the channel connection width, the less range the access point will reach through walls and floors. This is a proven fact. You don't need 1200Mbps or 1600Mbps on a video streaming or video conferencing device, Roku, Firestick or any other streaming device. Zoom only uses 1.5 Mbps at 1080p. Even 4k 60fps streaming is done at 35Mbps. Not to mention that each gigabit switch port only supports 1000Mbps unless it uses IEEE 802.3 BZ Multi-Rate technology. In addition, they are very well made and, when installed correctly, are practically bulletproof.
