After using this item for a few weeks I came back to reread the reviews and was looking for a tip or trick that I might have missed; but in vain. It seems that people who love this business wash one bowl at a time and maybe even a fork. I see it useful for that, but why not just dry 2 plates and you're done? If you have to wash dishes after cooking and support the family, I find this thing utterly useless. You cannot place plates as the grates are JUST wide enough for them to fall through. And if your plates happen to be a bit wider and you think you can balance them enough to stay put, the bars are pliable and have just enough flex for that plate to fall through too. You could set up 3 bowls to dry, but what's the point. Ever since I had this stupid thing I broke 2 glasses that slid right onto the floor as the whole mountain collapsed. If anyone has a real solution to the problem of cleaning up after a family dinner in an EXTREMELY small kitchen, I still need that solution. Because it is NOT.
