Peeler Belwether

. At the warehouse, the damaged peeler was placed first in a plastic bag and then in a box, despite having an obvious defect. The handle was deformed and severely bent. The thin sheet steel handle is not suitable for an effective grip when working at high speed. There are numerous dull spots on the blade that are obvious. 18/10 stainless steel doesn't hold its edge as long as many think. This design is an attempt to replicate the old first generation design that was a dependable and dependable kitchen workhorse across America. My 30 year old Tablecraft EKCO 45 still works well because I sharpened it regularly and kept it dry. [This is not a how-to venue, so I won't speak here. Where is the right page? I only need one more for large production work. The search led me into a world of revelations about the state of the market and the vegetable peeler market in particular. After reading dozens of reviews of various peelers, I am shocked at the stupidity of product designers at market-leading companies. Understanding the ergonomics of the whole body system must be intuitive and flawless. The function in nature always determines the form. Change that principle and all that is produced will be Ruby Goldberg. Thanks for the tirade, Revane.
