I work in a business that requires a lot of paperwork. I also deal with older people who don't necessarily drive or scan. To speed up the processes, I often go to their homes to get documents. I used to pick them up from a client, take them back to the office, scan them and then bring them back to return the documents. This scanner allows me to wirelessly scan any document to my phone and email it to myself instantly, which means two trips become one trip. It's worth every penny I paid for this device! I have a Fujitsu ix-500 in my office and I LOVE this machine because it's fast, quiet and can do duplex scanning. This portable printer is not duplex, but fortunately most of the documents I need are not duplex. Those that are needed are simply quickly flipped and reloaded into the scanner and that's it. I also like the fact that there are no extra steps involved when scanning multiple documents. When the first page passes the scanner, it waits for the next page to be loaded, which starts the next scan. Only when you're done scanning, an action is required to complete the process. It's not as fast as my office scanner, but runs on AA batteries or a USB cable, so I have to compromise on convenience. However, it is fast enough. In short I'm glad I bought it, would buy it again and am happy with the build and software.
