Review on 💧 Superior Water Filtration with FS TFC Reverse Osmosis Filtration System by Zach Peterson

My main goal was reverse osmosis water for my aquariums. I don't know why I didn't get this sooner! We have hard city water and when you fill the containers you can literally smell the chlorine in the water. We used a water jug with a Britta filter for drinking. what a pain I got the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and saw that tap water is 500-525 TDS. The filter reduces it to 20. Amazing! My neocardia tanks were dying every few days even though PH, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates were at good levels. Females rarely bear fruit (lay eggs). Further tests showed a very high TDS (1500) with high GH and KH levels. Reverse osmosis water is ideal for shrimp after remineralization. Now about 1/3 of my shrimp are berries and all are active. What a huge improvement! Apart from shrimp, we use it for drinking water compared to the Britta filter. So much more convenient! Never fill the jug again! The TDS after Britta was still around 400, but the chemical smell was gone. I feel much happier using reverse osmosis water. Installation Tip: I left the pipe long enough to install the unit on the floor under the sink. This makes it easier to change the filter and also helps to find leaks. I have no leak. It was very easy to install.
