Very good 4K display (Philips 278E1), especially for the price. Bright, clear, good color palette. BUT, if you're using it with a Mac with a Retina display (in my case, a MacBook Pro 2019 with Retina), it will display 4k (3820 x 2160) resolution with VERY small menus in all apps. The solution I (finally) found was to use a 3rd party app (like SwitchResX) which gives you more resolution options in HiDPI. You can also find instructions on how to add more permissions options by searching the terminal with instruction lines etc if you want to spend time on it. Unfortunately, Philips technical support did not help. this issue, although it's a common thread on Mac forums. Nothing in the manual, FAQs. I emailed them through their support site but received no response.
