I bought several Blink outdoor cameras on Prime Day and while I know they come with standard mounting hardware it required a slightly different approach where I wanted to place my cameras. So I decided to try the gutter brackets. Installation was easy. Remove the rubber grommet on the back of the camera and insert the mounting adapter. It was a little tricky because it required little pressure and the plastic body of the camera is not very thick and bends easily. Once that's done, screw it onto the swivel mount, tighten and adjust to your liking. The mounting base itself attaches to the gutter with two long bolts and a wing nut and locks it in place nicely. The only thing I don't like about the mount is that it doesn't tighten the camera to the point where it won't move. The camera itself moves too easily even though I tightened everything properly. The position of the mount doesn't change, only the camera itself, which luckily hasn't moved yet. A good strong gust of wind can change that. Nice gutter mount option, but I think I'll eventually change it to something that's a little more protected and maybe something that gives me the ability to shield the cameras from direct sunlight.
