Due to misaligned teeth
I've been using it for about four weeks. This caused one of my front teeth to stick out in front of the other. After some research I found this to be a known risk of using trigeminal nociceptive inhibition (NTI) splints. Because the splint only covers the front teeth, this results in the pressure of nocturnal bruxism being applied exclusively to those teeth, increasing the likelihood of side effects such as an altered bite. While it is true that an NTI tire can reduce bruxism overall, it can be particularly dangerous when bruxism is still present, as was the case in my case. Your mileage will vary, which is why I get 2 stars.
