This is an ingenious and elegant device that seems to have been designed by some smart and clever people. Instead of paying $1,900 for an additional 240 volt, 30 amp circuit in my garage, I saved a lot of money at $319. And I certainly didn't need an additional 240-volt circuit. If in the future for any reason I need 240 volt power to run the compressor etc I can use this unit. Charging my RAV4 Prime went from 12 hours to 2.5 hours on a 240 volt circuit. With a 12 hour 120 volt charge you will need to charge during peak hours. Now I have all loads not in peak load. The switch works perfectly. I started the dryer and it immediately cut the circuit of the electric car. I checked again later when the dryer finished its work and charging resumed. It has a very cool display. It's nice to see the data, especially the current strength. Last but not least, the customer service couldn't be better. 10 stars if I could. Really nice people. They helped me figure out my setup and answered my many questions.
