worked great for welding and soldering
worked very well, used it to fix my badly worn trash can. and my wife's Prius under the carriage cover. As always, the plastic strips that come with this type of tool are useless. It's always best to find a piece of plastic from the same piece you're trying to weld and use that as the filler. This device heats up very quickly, so move quickly and don't linger or you'll just melt the plastic.
