These headphones allow my daughter to use her new Xbox 1 to communicate with her "teammates" without me having to listen to them all. The padding provides comfort for hours of play. The noise cancellation is good, but not the best. But I don't mind because I know my daughter can't ignore me if I raise my voice. The microphone picks up your voice well and friends always hear you. Note that the backlight only works when you plug your headset into a USB port, which isn't the case on ours. That's not a problem - the headset is still worth the price, but it would be nice to have them as they are in the photos and part of the 'appeal' of the purchase.
