is fairly easy to install. Remember that you must remove the spare wheel from the spare wheel holder. The locking rings that attach the back of the license plate frame to the spare tire mount snapped easily into place. Then the wiring was done. I chose to keep my 3rd brake light so I hooked up my own positive/negative signal. Note that the license plate light had crossed wires. I had to connect the positive 12v to the black wire and connect the ground to the white license plate light wire. not that big of a problem but still a little frustrating for 10 minutes when I couldn't get it to work properly and my positive went to white and my negative to ground. everything is fine except for the hiccups. Good deal, great product.
