Review on Anker Powerline+ III Lightning To USB A Cable by Matt Simpsons

I have enough for a week or two

If something goes wrong with my new iPhone 12 two months later, Anker's cables will only last me a week or two. I use them gently while seated and connected to the power supply. Also tested by plugging the cable into a wall outlet charger when the cable started to fail and had the same intermittent connection issue, indicating the issue was not power related. Returned the Powerline II cable (2 packs) under warranty and now after two weeks of extra careful use with a new warranty replacement, again lost connection when charging. (Comments on Powerline +III below) They came in packs of two, so we'll use the second one now. They seem to work fine for about a week and a half, then intermittent charging problems start when the connection drops. The first time this happened, I found that touching and gently wiggling the cable at the end of the USB reconnected it, but after a few hours it stopped working at all. When problems arose with the second cable, moving the cable didn't work. Also with the first cable, I backed up an iPhone to my MacBook Pro using the cable and the backup couldn't complete because the connection was lost. At this point, the phone was sitting motionless on a glass table next to the laptop. While waiting for Powerline II cables with warranty replacements, I ordered a Powerline + III cable. Sturdy as you would imagine but also had a sequential loading issue after a very short time and came back for credit. I had to put the iPhone upside down in my pocket to protect the zippered socket from any lint or debris that might interfere with the connection. Clean the zippered socket with a Dust Off compressed air just in case. To sum it up, and I'll be honest I can't believe there was indeed a problem, first with one and then with the second Powerline II while awaiting a warranty replacement. ordered a Powerline +III and had a problem with it, went to the first new Powerline II cable replacement and it worked for about two weeks so this morning I switched to a second new Powerline II replacement. So far so good, but I ordered a cable from Apple. The original Apple cable had the plastic cover on the USB side coming off so I ordered a replacement cable first, but after switching back to the original Apple cable it still worked. quite good and never turns off when connected to battery so I ordered another cable from Apple. If there's a problem with it, you'll have to look for a new phone replacement under warranty, but so far the original Apple cable hasn't shown any problems in operation other than the fact that it's awkward to remove from the USB port because. a plastic cap dangles from this end.
