VELCRO Brand - Extreme Outdoor - Extreme - 4" x 1" Strips, 10 Set - Titanium I just bought an apartment and converted a dark, ugly bedroom into a bright, bright recording studio. After four coats of paint (primer and then three coats of peach) I did NOT want to drive 32 large screws into the walls with drywall sleeves to hold the acoustic panels and panels! The fiberglass acoustic panels seemed light enough for velcro but I wanted to make sure they were the strongest available as these panels should last for years. I came here to shop at Revain and bought these. Installed today, so far so good. I'll report back in a few weeks and hopefully let you know how well they hold up because I just can't get these huge holes in my nice freshly painted wall. UPDATE: Well actually a few plates fell off. Luckily they came with metal backs which I attached to the panels and then just reattached the velcro, this time not to the back panel but to the metal piercer. It sticks there much better than on the fiberglass on the back.
