I purchased this product in place of a wine cooler when I discovered that the wine cooler merely rotates the bottle in salted ice water. I thought I could do it myself. This product is large enough to use as an ice bucket for 2 regular sized wine bottles or 1 large wine bottle. It's also large enough to easily lay a bottle of wine on its side for a quick way to chill your drink. Just add salt water (salt makes the water colder than normal) and enough ice to submerge the bottle as deep as possible, or if you want to cool it down even faster, swirl the bottle in the water for a minute. I also really like how this product looks. It's both festive and modern. The red is very bright. I also like that it's acrylic which makes it more durable and the handles make it easy to carry. I am very happy with my purchase and this bucket looks great on my bar.
