Heating without red light.
I bought this bulb because I needed heat without a light. The red light from most heat lamps can damage crested geckos' eyes. That works great. We use one for our outdoor kennel and the other for the hotspot in the gecko vivarium. I would recommend them for lizards, snakes, chickens, rabbits or other small pets.
