They don't fold like a regular gable-top box, and you might worry that what you're putting inside, slightly heavier than candy, could cause the box to shatter. I would classify the material of the box as slightly thicker paper than the sturdy cardboard that most gable boxes are made of. Also, the box itself has a lot of unaesthetic seams, unlike a real gable box.
