I bought these because they are similar to the ones I use as a hospital nurse. I wasted my money. They have very little padding, the padding is uncomfortable. The outside of the tread is rough and scratchy and irritates the skin. The velcro touches the skin at the crook of the ankle - very annoying. They are not made from natural wool and therefore do not have the softening properties of sheepskin. I didn't send them back because it was too much hassle. I can always wash my car with it. I bought another brand instead and am very happy with it.
