I got the brown version of this and loved it, so I had to get this blue version, too. And I'm not disappointed.This is an ingenious way to take classic board games on the road. It is a roll-up gameboard with the pieces in a cylindrical zippered pouch at the end of the gameboard that also makes it easy to roll up the game when storing. You get chess, checkers, backgammon, and a velvet cinch pouch to put the entire game kit into. The gameboard looks positively medieval, like something a knight might have stored in a leather bag strapped to his horse. The gameboard is gorgeous, with the sewing adding to the good looks of the board. The entire piece is a suede-like material with the chess/checker squares and the backgammon points made of a leather-looking vinyl. The amount of sewing is amazing, again adding to the beauty of the gameboard.I look forward to using this when on the road, on vacation, or even a change of pace to gaming at home, which I did with some Backgammon challenges. I'm glad I got it for its uniqueness and beauty.
