They are not as thick and durable as before. Cardboard is thin and bends easily. Sliding lids become less usable. Although the product is entertaining as described, its poor quality makes it less entertaining. There are other similar products on Dollar Island at Target.

They have the potential to be great travel games. My kids loved them. The pictures were good for those who hadn't read the words yet. However, the description says 2 cars and 2 interstate cards and I have 3 cars and 1 interstate. It was difficult to play together because the street and interstate maps are different. So I would recommend them, but open them before you travel to make sure you get what you want!

This is a great way to get kids to look outside during car trips. They have tablets, but we wanted them to be more active, at least for a while. This game was fun for my kids in booster seats. My 3 year old still has a regular car seat and couldn't see out the windows enough to have fun. She also has a shorter attention span. But my 5 and 7 year olds enjoyed playing it. This is a really great game for almost all ages. It managed to keep teenagers off the devices for some time, which is important. However, the little doors you close when you find a match close and open so easily that they do so even if the map is tilted left or right.
