3 seconds after opening the box, they just don't feel very comfortable in the hand. This fidget toy has the makings of something really cool. He will not make it. It weighs too little so that each individual ring weighs little more than a ping pong ball. The magnets are too weak, so the rings come off too easily. Finally, the magnets between the three rings I received are of different strengths. So one of the rings is much easier to disassemble than the others and it has flown away from me at least 3 times.
