After I put it to the test, I have to say that the elevating shaft for Winegard is pretty impressive. The gears are surely of great quality allowing for smooth rotation with minimal noise production. The main thing that stands out is the sturdy build, which enables it to withstand heavy usage without needing any repairs or replacements. The only downside to this is that it may be a bit expensive for some consumers, but it's certainly worth it in the long run. .

Bought the 14" because I didn't know how long the old one was so I had to cut the new one a few inches to fit the old one. The hacksaw was exactly what did the job.
