Description of MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 SUV 305/35 R21 109T winter

The Michelin X-Ice North 4 studded winter tire is designed for a wide range of passenger cars and urban crossovers operating in harsh climatic conditions. The X-Ice North 4 combines a number of innovative technologies to achieve exceptional control on winter roads. The Michelin X-Ice North 4 tire guarantees highly efficient handling, short braking distances and a high level of comfort on any type of winter road. To achieve high performance on ice, Michelin engineers have developed a new tread pattern that allows you to place a record number of studs. The Michelin X-Ice North Xin4 tread contains 250 studs, twice as many as the previous generation Xin3 tire. This was made possible thanks to the optimized arrangement of the blocks, which made it possible to place the spikes in 22 lines in the longitudinal and transverse directions. The design of the spikes has also undergone significant changes. The X-Ice North Xin4 features specially shaped metal rally spikes. The body of the stud has become narrower, and the proportions of the flange and neck have been optimized. This significantly improved the fixation of the stud in the tread. The spike core, which is held by a special rim, is responsible for improving grip on slippery surfaces. This technology has already found its way into the Michelin sports tires used in WRC racing. The new directional tread design has a high proportion of positive profile and new sipe design. This had a positive effect on the performance of the Michelin X-Ice North Xin4 tire on snowy, wet and dry roads. Stability on a dry road is guaranteed by blocks of the central part of the tread, united by a central stiffener. The wider design of the blocks made it possible to use lamellas of a new design with U-shaped teeth. They provide effective blocking, while maintaining the rigidity required for complex maneuvers. The unique formula of the rubber compound ensures that the effective traction and braking characteristics of the tire are maintained over a wide temperature range. To do this, a new generation of elastomers were added to the rubber composition. They push back the glass transition of the tread rubber to -65 degrees. In other words, they retain the elasticity of rubber at ultra-low temperatures. In addition, the new rubber compound significantly improved the tire''s rolling resistance performance. Exceptional Winter Road Control No. 1 in ice braking(1) No. 1 in ice handling(1) Low Noise(2)(1) Based on comparative tests for handling and braking on ice, conducted by TEST WORLD from 12.2017 to 01.2018, commissioned by Michelin, in size 205/55 R16 on a VW Golf 7. Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

225/65 17 took on sporteydzh. New car, new tires) everything is buzzing so far, it doesn’t go into a skid, it steers perfectly, the sidewall is strong. In Hong Kong, I mostly travel around the city, but there are also villages. I recommend

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

Skated the entire season, all of the spikes are in place, the tires look brand new, and even though it doesn't snow much in St. Petersburg during the winter, the icy asphalt remains in good condition; in my memory, it has the best rubber.

Pros
  • friction resistance, the clutch of sustainability
Cons
  • Although he drove carefully, he was not caught because he did not pass the rigorous checks required for speeds over 80 miles per hour in the city.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

The best winter tires I have ever driven! Stands on all-wheel drive diesel BMW 340 horses and 700 torque. I drove fast and aggressively. I dug snow and drove along the track on an ice lake. Snow driving video ? v=QWCIBk4pmbQ&t=174s

Pros
  • The best winter tires I have ever driven! Stands on all-wheel drive diesel BMW 340 horses and 700 torque. - Not a SINGLE SHIP flew out during the season. - Hong Kongeability is excellent. - Good grip in all conditions - Price / quality super

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

It's the most enjoyable ride I've ever had. From my previous experience riding on summer tires, I am aware that teddy bears are the superior option; nonetheless, this activity requires spikes. The Japanese puff on cigarettes while they watch. The quietness can be attributed to the spikes being of varying sizes. A side grip, similar to what you would see on a fifteen-year-old. Due to the fact that I just did not enter the turns. Of course, keeping common sense in mind. However, the previous…

Pros
  • Oh, Valera, you're in space now!
Cons
  • No.

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Satisfied with the purchase. The route along which this highway, city, highway, road to the dacha drove. It was just a good snowfall. Temperature 0 +2. Outside the city 10 cm of snow. Maybe after a trip to Karelia I’ll add something else. (Added)

Pros
  • Good tires. Adequate behavior on wet pavement. I drove about 400 km in total. On the highway, the speed is 110 km / h. Rides like summer. Wet snow, braking at low speed, ABS is activated. Acceleration on the snow is good, leads nowhere. Doesn't roll over on a turn. I haven't tried the extreme modes. It's completely safe to ride. Noise is not particularly audible. Size 285/60 r18. The car is all-wheel drive. Continuation: 6 people went to Karelia with belongings. Excellent behavior on the road. 110 km / h in the snow is excellent, overtaking on the highway in wet porridge. Great. Cruiser 200 car. I got stuck in my pocket at the exit, let pass the oncoming ones. Turned on the m / to blocking left. Generally very satisfied. Brakes like it should!
Cons
  • Probably there, but not significant.

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

There is something to it. Michelin people, you've excelled yourself. I am a tire maker, and I have been keeping a close eye on Michelin's X-Ice series for a very long time. While the first model in the line was somewhat successful, the second, second plus, and third models were not. However, it appears that a significant amount of work has been done on the problems, and Michelin has succeeded in producing the very best winter tire that is now available on the market. Absolutely, without a…

Pros
  • Outstanding maneuverability, excellent lateral resistance, and height that exceeds those of competitors. Extremely silent as a result of the smaller spikes, despite the fact that the overall surface area of the spikes is bigger than that of any other winter tire. Damn, the craftsmanship of those spikes is just top-notch all the way through! How did you do that? A perfectly even and gentle tread structure, along with an enormous amount of individual sipes. It is remarkable in its ability to remove water and grime.
Cons
  • There are virtually none of them; the only thing that can cause confusion is the sidewall's unusually pliable nature.

The product is really good, Im glad I bought it.

High levels of spiking and premium labeling Includes advantages: 1) Retains grip even in wintry conditions. You will probably be faster than most other drivers in these conditions and on winter roads in general. What this rubber is really good for is getting you to go quicker than the usual flow rate (particularly if you have 4wd) and giving you a strange feeling of supremacy. 2) Using a well rake on snow piles. If the snow is dry, at least. Distinct drawbacks: The brakes are particularly…

Poor quality, I will not buy this product again.

Every single spike was positioned atop each of the four wheels. Got pros: Both of these automobiles use these tires. In different sizes. In this regard, you must use extreme caution when making purchases. Because a great deal is determined by the size. Was originally purchased for use in a Subaru Impreza. That automobile was perfect in every way for me. Since it can swim when the temperature is high, its survival is not in jeopardy. BUT the exact same tires, size 235/60/18, were installed on…

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

In August of 2022, I made a purchase for a brand new TLC-150 Prado V6 in the quantity of 265/60 R18 tires. The 19th week of the year 2022 is the date of manufacture, and this size was made in Poland. I put more than 5000 kilometers on them over the winter of 2022-2022. Because of the fluctuating temperatures in the winter in St. Petersburg, the pavement is covered with ice. It never even went into a skid on the road, so its behavior there is more than satisfactory. The spikes are still in their

Pros
  • A perfect equilibrium. Soft. They perform admirably on the rink. Not noisy.
Cons
  • Rapid accumulation of snow causes the lamellas to become blocked. There are just one transverse groove on the rubber lugs that have a herringbone pattern, not two as shown in the advertising photographs; the tread pattern is a little bit different from what is depicted in those pictures.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

Hong Kong. Size 235x60 R18 After installation, the ABS and ESP systems "rest," gradually enhancing the driver's sense of well-being as more miles are driven. Those who are unable to stop as a result will inevitably suffer negative consequences. The pace of movement, on average, is getting faster as time goes on. From personal experience, I have driven a Subaru Forester ever since 2022. was a follower of the Velcro yoko IG50, g073 religion. G073 liked more. Patience is required while rowing…

Pros
  • pretty decent (within the framework of the crossover), the noise is a nice rustle, and it does not buzz. Handling, high resistance to lateral drift of the front and rear axles, pretty passable.
Cons
  • Relaxes

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Before that, I used Haku 7 for six years in the winter, and it worked great for me. However, the previous year, a set of wheels lost their geometry and started to knock when I was going fast. I used X-ice4 for the first time the previous winter, and my wife enjoyed having it for our car and any other vehicle within a 16-meter radius. I came to the conclusion that it would be safer for me to just use the one that was already there, so I skipped the experiment. Surprisingly, the same can be said…

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

For the previous six years, I had found great success with the Haku 7, but last year, a set of wheels developed a geometry problem that caused them to bang when traveling at high speeds. My wife appreciated the X-ice4 I purchased her for her automobile within a 16-meter radius last winter. Instead of trying something new and risky in order to save money, I simply chose the same one for myself. Not only has winter not arrived unexpectedly, but neither has asphalt. What are the benefits? Cheap…

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

In most cases, reality lived up to the hype. Superior winter tires. There are, however, two caveats. on wet surface, it does not perform well since stopping distances increase. The second is tied directly to the rubber's softness, which aids in comfort and traction on ice and snow but decreases gas mileage. Use Expertise: Rubber tires are quiet and can be driven on studded rims. Superb grip on the snow and ice. Exceptionally cozy. Against it: Not great traction on wet pavement above freezing…

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Rubber is of high quality, has a low level of noise, and these 250 spikes are barely audible. Their clatter is not like the "clatter" that thorns make; rather, it has more of a "tingle" to it, and its tone is quite lovely! The carcass of a Michelin tire is of the highest possible quality, and as a result, the tire can travel an unprecedented distance before showing signs of wear and tear. The tread is cut to the entire depth, and not only that, but with wear, the lamellas on some models are…

Pros
  • Silence
Cons
  • a little too smooth when taxiing through fast turns; perhaps Haka 4 and 5 were a better choice (I rode them).

In Hong Kong. 235x60 R18 in size ABS and ESP "rest" after installation, progressively enhancing the sense of security with each journey. For those who are unable to stop, this is obviously harmful. There is a progressive increase in movement's average speed. Experience has shown that the Subaru Forester was introduced in 2022. was an IG50, G073 Velcro yoko adherent. More liked by G073. Rowing steadily in the loose snow at a height till it touches the firmament. Brige Ice Cruiser 7000 was in…

Pros
  • The crossover's handling is pretty passable, the front and rear axles have a strong resistance to lateral drift, and the noise is a nice rustle rather than a buzz.
Cons
  • Relaxes

It's a start. You people at Michelin have really raised the bar. Tire maker here; I've been keeping an eye on Michelin's X-Ice range for a while; model 1 did okay, but models 2, 2+, and 3 tanked. It appears that many issues have been fixed and Michelin has produced the finest winter tire available. Absolutely, without a doubt, they used a green N to clean their nose. To begin, the x-ice north 4 is a Nordic type tire, and such a tire is essential for driving in center 2022. Even though there was

Pros
  • Superior control, more lateral strength, and height than the competition. Extremely silent because of the smaller spikes, but their overall surface area is larger than any other winter tire. The spikes are so well made, it's ridiculous. How did you manage that? Excellent symmetry, a supple tread design, and an abundance of sipes. Water and grime are remarkably shed.
Cons
  • Very few exist, and the only thing that can cause confusion is the thin walls.
