Review on Marathon 11X4 00 5 Wheel Centered Bearings by Joe Fulce

This is a cheap replacement for my original John Deere tires. I first read the reviews and saw that they were described as cheap with poor quality bearings, but decided to take a chance. Upon delivery, I immediately noticed that the oilers had been torn off and loosened. They were junk and I had to replace them before I even installed them. I removed one bearing to check condition compared to a previous review that complained that the bearings still had internal seals installed. This prevents grease from getting into the bearings. Of course the seals were there. I removed the seals and immediately noticed inferior bearings. My child's tricycle has the best bearings. I reinstalled and lubricated them. After a few mowing, the bearings are better, but not smoother. My plan is to let them run until they fire and replace the bearings with better ones.
