If you love knives or cooking you must try this. If you know someone who does, here's a wonderful gift. My niece graduated from the CIA and has been running her own catering business for 20 years. She tried it and told me it was as good as any knife she uses. I already have good knives - Shun and Global - but I think I'll turn to them when I need a utility knife. Since this is the knife I use the most, I believe it will be widely used. We'll see how it retains its sharpness, but with a little simple preventative maintenance I believe it will last for years to come. This is the knife you pass down to your kids (not like the useless drawer knives my mom and dad gave me when I went solo). If you appreciate good things, this is a good thing.
