Bought this for my partner who sleeps hot. And for Texas summer, this blanket was great. I was completely surprised. It's cool to the touch, but still has enough weight that it feels cozy. It mostly maintains your temperature, so you don't overheat. But you can keep warm in it.It does shed like crazy, though. Little lint balls EVEYWHERE. At least they're easy to brush off, even without a lint roller. We've washed it once on the cold cycle inside of a laundry bag. Since it had already pilled and shed so much, I don't know if the laundry bag helped. Then we hung it to dry on a shower curtain with the fan on and the door open. Took 24 hrs. But once it was done, it functioned just like before. My partner even said it felt more like how it did in the beginning.So, against all odds, this blanket actually works. And it's a cheaper alternative to another standing fan in the room. Great way for partners to keep their own comfortable temperatures. Also, we got the 90"x90", so no complaints about it being too small. My partner even gets tangled in it sometimes, so beware of that.
