I bought this for my brother and helped him set it up. It took us just over an hour to set up - it could have been quicker if we knew what we were doing and looked at the manual first lol (let's face it nobody looks at the manual until it's too late , haha!). His first monitor is 36 inches (diagonal size) and 32.5 inches (horizontal size), we put this monitor horizontally. Its second monitor is 30 inches (diagonal size) and 27.5 inches (horizontal size), we put this monitor vertically. He always placed his monitors like this, so it was perfect. I'm not sure if he can put both monitors horizontally since the first monitor is so big. We haven't tried it because it doesn't seem to fit and he still doesn't want both to be horizontal. When my two cousins saw the setup, they immediately bought one because they installed it the same way (one horizontal monitor and one vertical). I wish I could share her monitor measurements to help you, but I know her measurements are similar to my brother's, maybe even a little bigger.
