I still have one from years ago that I still use and needed another for a different location. I've looked in local stores but couldn't find it anywhere and was thrilled to find it here. I don't want to do without it anymore! No need to struggle with screw tops or break the glass of a jar when hitting a lid on a countertop. As a result, practically every can is depressurized and can be opened quickly. You simply place the small flat part under the screw cap, the round part rests on top of the lid and lift the handle, the lid pops open and you can open the jar. The only problem is that people used it to open beer bottles because it looks like a bottle opener but having had a hard time finding one locally I was always worried the plastic would break so I keep it it up with my kitchen towels. But now that I've found it, if it breaks I know where to get another one.
