This is the perfect knife for those who want an EDC Buck 110 with a pocket clip and thumb stud.

This is the perfect knife for those who want an EDC Buck 110 or similar model with a classic locking back with pocket clip and thumb stud, but can't afford or can't find one Buck 110 Lox. The knife itself is great for the price, I bought it for $15 and at that price it's a good deal. The blade steel is ok, it dulls quickly but is also easy to sharpen which I think is a good compromise. The clasp is very strong and the clip, while it would be better to mount it point up, is at least reversible for left-handers, which is good enough for this price range. It pops out on the fly, more like a Cold Steel Voyager knife than a Spyderco Endura in terms of lock opening speed. Let's face it, you get this because, like me, you love the classic Buck 110-style lock, but want the convenience of a clip and bolt because modern knives have spoiled you with those two features, and Buck refuses to put them for some reason them available. This knife meets both of those needs perfectly, so if you're looking for it for that purpose, go for it. If you are looking at this knife because you want a classic Buck 110 Lock Back Knife but don't want to pay the Buck price for it then I would recommend checking out the 5" Sheffield Lock Back Knife, it's a real knife The Buck 110 replica I found, with a rosewood handle, brass bolsters and pins, retains the classic look, closes securely like a bank vault, uses 420 stainless steel, and comes with a lifetime warranty, making it slightly better than this knife if You're not interested in a thumb clip or thumb stud, and $4 cheaper, but if you need a stud and clip, as of May 2018 this is the best option on the market.
