Great knife for your money!

Excellent knife for the money. This is an inexpensive line of K-Bars, so it says "made in China" right on it, but the overall quality for a $25 knife is excellent. I have had one of K-Bar's Gila knives (another inexpensive line knife) for many years and it has been an amazing knife. highlighted.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Working speed

Handy pocket knife on folding hunting knives

Pros: strong and sturdy, instantly sharp, folds and unfolds well if a bit stiff (like some new folding knives), blade locks well. won't wobble in the blade's locked position, large and long enough for self-defense, great for cooking and slicing fruits and vegetables, great for EDC and great for pocket knife tasks, easy to hide.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Good knife on folding hunting knife

Arrived the other day. How KA-BAR (or anyone else) can sell such a quality knife for less than $18 and make money off it is one of the great mysteries of this century. There must be many very hungry manufacturers in China who are willing to pay low prices just to keep the factory running and the people working. No complaints here. For less than $18, this is one of the best knives you can buy. It still amazes me how they can sell at this price but I'm glad they can do it. :)

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • threadbare

Awesome knife for under $20

My problem with the knife community is "knife nobs". Given the price, build, great clasp, hand feel and cut there is no reason to give it anything but 5 stars. I have a Buck 110 and I like the blade profile better on this knife. It's lighter, has a pocket clip and I think it's an attractive knife. Came very sharp, cuts paper neatly. A nice big blade that you can actually do EDC, or a fantastic "whip knife" at this price point. The gray finish feels nice, I like the natural look of this knifeโ€ฆ

Good ergonomics, terrible blade

I have several Buck 110 Hunters and I bought this clip-on 110 Hunter because Buck still doesn't offer this configuration. In terms of ergonomics and functionality, it is a normal, almost durable knife for its price. The fit and finish is pretty good, but I don't like the gray "painted" look of all the metal (apparently a painted/coated finish is the cheapest way to get a finished look). I could live with that, but the blade is awful - SOFT. When using a conventional diamond grit sharpeningโ€ฆ

Looks good, wears - not so

Strong lock, easy to open and close, good looking, easy to sharpen and inexpensive. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap retainer, just be aware that it is made from inferior steel that will need to be sharpened after use. It's not a Buck 110 and it's not meant to be. If that's what you're looking for, keep looking. I could use it all day in the woods but after skinning 2 rabbits I had to run it on steel. At the end of the day and on the 4th rabbit I used my diamond whetstone. Atโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely great!
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

probably worth more

Good well made knife for the money. I think this price is a little lower than the quality you get. For $16 you can usually pick up a blue or red knife with an aluminum handle and a dull chrome-plated blade that says "Ninja Death Dealer" or something. I love that this stylish knife has a pocket clip (which is why I bought it) and that it sits high enough to be easy to grab but low enough to be discreet. Another plus is that the belt clip doesn't protrude too much at the bottom (where the clip is

Pros
  • $ Good product for the price
Cons
  • will be added later

This is the perfect knife for those who want an EDC Buck 110 or similar model with a classic locking back with pocket clip and thumb stud, but can't afford or can't find one Buck 110 Lox. The knife itself is great for the price, I bought it for $15 and at that price it's a good deal. The blade steel is ok, it dulls quickly but is also easy to sharpen which I think is a good compromise. The clasp is very strong and the clip, while it would be better to mount it point up, is at least reversibleโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Negative impression

REALLY REALLY CHEAP

I buy a lot from Revain and this was a new purchase! I waited before checking to get the true information for the report. I have never received a discount that is not available to the general public and I give honest feedback as a token of my gratitude to Revain's support team who follow up on every bad experience. *provided by Revain) Packaging: Original manufacturer's packaging in the Revain box, but there is no insulation between them, but it is not damaged (You will be surprised how muchโ€ฆ
