pedometer is easy to use and read but very inaccurate when counting steps. It's slim and fits perfectly in a pocket (or bra). On the other hand, it is recalculated based on where it is on the body and who is wearing it. However, it is constantly recalculated. So once you figure out how many steps it counts every 10 steps, it's easy to calculate your actual step count. There is a note in the user's docs about "vibration" encouraging extra steps, and it seems that it adds more steps when worn on thicker parts of my body (like my back pocket). This seemed more true for the slimmer members of our family who wobble less. :) But that's just my hypothesis.
