Do yourself a favor and buy a decent
Cheap grease guns are a nightmare, especially when charging. Cheap spring mechanisms, leaking pistons, poor filling. I threw away some almost new cheap grease guns because they were too painful to use. This grease gun is not expensive, but the difference in quality compared to the big box is significant. It's easy to download, easy to use, and well made. Buy it once and you'll never have to buy it again. Edit: Bought a second of these, one for marine lube and a second for red lube. Both work fine.
