Not a quick model! for my opinion

I am an experienced model builder and this was one of the most challenging kits I've ever put together. Luckily I have a lot of tools that made this job easier but it's challenging for sure! It took quite a while to build. I tried a variety of glues and had the best results with Titebond II wood glue. Like with any model kit, take your time and read a few steps in advance just to make sure you know where you are headed. Also, get ready to make the most miniature books you've ever made in your…

Very Nice! in my review

This is an excellent book nook kit! It ends up looking fantastic when complete. It's easy to put together and a lot of fun. The only flaw was that the printed sign paper pieces were supposed to be done in reverse so that they show up the right way in the mirror in back. But it turns out looking great in the end. Good price too!

So wonderful for my opinion

This was the first book book I’ve put together, but it was a lot of fun. The attention to detail is incredible (I got the bookstore one) and I can’t wait to do more of them.I used a mixture of craft glue, superglue gel, and wood glue to put it together. Some pieces are extremely delicate so be careful of that (for instance the lantern in the upper left corner, my cat and I both bumped it off a few times during the process. I would recommend maybe putting that on close to the end if you can…

Looks better than you'd expect

I was worried about this Book Nook since it was rather simple inside, but the addition of an angled mirror at the back of the unit made this thing really great. The mirror gave it a lot of depth and almost double the interior size. I knocked off 1 star because the mirror was too tall and interfered with the fitment of the top. I used a band saw to saw about 1/4 off the top of the mirror and everything then fit well.

Cutebee is the BEST! Hands down!

Okay, I've bought 4 (four!) of these BookNook kits from different manufacturers.1st came without any instructions (though they emailed me a 35 page document), but the printing on the pieces is *very* faded. (ModernDeal; Smart Shopping)2nd came with 1 page of instructions (for a many many-piece product). Repeated contacts ended with the owner of the company telling me to "just put it together any way you want!" (Duno)3rd was super inexpensive, but *terrible." It bore no relation to the Book Nook

Missing and warped pieces

I don't know if these are opened and inspected by the 3rd party seller or not but my kit had a duplicate piece and the corresponding piece was missing. Also at 75% of the longer pieces have had a bit of warping causing them to be curved enough that gluing them together had required a lot of clamping while waiting for the glue to dry. I haven't gotten any response from the manufacturer or the seller about these issues. It's disappointing because it's the second Cutebee kit I've gotten and the…

THE BEST MINIATURE STARTER KIT EVER

I have been collecting miniatures for years. I wanted to get my children interested. This kit was affordable and we were able to finish it together in one day of laughter and love. GREAT INSTRUCTION BOOKLET TOO! This is the BEST STARTER KIT! I was able to teach wiring and dimensions all together. GREAT PRICE TOO!

Absolutely loved putting it together, and well as how it looks. It’s not difficult!

Great Christmas present!

I gave this as a Christmas present to my husband because he loves models. He's been working on it since he opened the gift on Christmas morning. He's about halfway through, and the model looks amazing! He's thoroughly enjoying himself; the model is challenging without being totally frustrating.

Loved making this kit

I've made a lot of kits and this was one of my favorite ones to build. All pieces are laser cut and painted with a lot of detail. Directions are mostly pictures but everything is marked very well which makes it super easy to put together. I really enjoyed making this kit.
